- Roommate is book 5 in The Real Man series. Each short story can be read as a standalone.
Meghan and Brendan have been in love with the other for years. Unfortunately they've both been too scared to say something for fear of ruining the close friendship they have. When Meghan is thrown out of her apartment, Brendan is the first person she calls. Now that she's living with him, Brendan is determined to man up and tell Meghan how he's felt all these years.
These are good characters and the ending is really sweet. My only complaint have you ever listened to someone ramble and think to yourself - "hurry up and get on with it!!"? Well, that's how I felt about the inner dialogue of the characters trying to find backbones to reveal their feelings. It was a little too repetitive and there wasn't much else in the story going on.
There's going to be a book 6 coming soon. - Meghan is feeling like her life has fallen apart which is why she is moving in with her stepbrother for the time being. She has long harbored a crush on him, while not related by blood she wishes he felt the same. Brendan has been in love with Meghan for years, he knows she is it for him and has to figure out a way to tell her though.
This was fun, I liked it a lot. Had a big surprise that I was not expecting and will not reveal. True Love ..... - This was a quick sexy read. Brendan and Meghan are former step=siblings that love each other. Fun plot, great characters and good writing, throw in a little bit of a slow burn and smoking hot sex and you've got a fabulous book. Great story Jenika Snow!

These two held back their feelings for years until they became roommates and neither could deny their true feelings any longer. This Real Men series may have been short stories, but all were we told and very erotic. - I love this series!!!! Brendan and Meghan have been in love for years and they finally act upon it. There is something so hot about a hot, alpha male who protects and cherishes what is his!! I can hardly wait for the next book. Thanks Jerika!!
