"This book gets depressing really quick. Seems like an interesting subject. They really didn't care where they got slaves from it was really all about the money. There are people that will sell their own mother into slavery if they could get enough money. Just another of the horrors of unbridled greed. I am going to try to finish it. Just like the book I am reading about Mao. Another one that gets depressing really quick. Leaders who don't think twice about starving millions of their citizens. We have a potential Mao running the USA right now."

- Well, too uncommon, this comprises a proper examination of enslavement of 'whites' in history. The major focus is with the North Americans, pre- and post-colonial. There is recognition of the present day, nearly universal practice of ignoring 'white' enslavement while enslavement of Africans as somehow uniquely a sin of Europeans.
Although there is sometimes present day acknowledgement of enslavement of the Irish, massive enslavement of English--especially poor children--was an early foundation of the American Colonies. Your average 'cracker' or 'hill billy' is likely descended from white slaves in that early phase of mass-enslavement.
This book throws many presumptions about racism into question. It also throws the current 'consensus' theories re race into question. - I found this book very informative and factual it was easy for me to look up the information that he supplied online and test it for its validity and accuracy. I am a lover of real history and not the history of an autocracy seeking to cover up its atrocities by rewriting history. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in what really happened during the colonization of America and it's enslavement and transportation of poor whites and the so-called criminal class of England to the sugar plantations of the Caribbeans and the colonies in America it has always been about maximum profit throughfree slave labor or cheap labor through globalization.

- This book is instresting because when you read about slavery you never read many books about white slavery in the Western Hemisphere. This is a great book ,it's hard believe it however it's worth the investment.
- Well documented account of Anglo slaves who were never formally called slaves. Reading found nowhere else.
- First off, Mr. Hoffman II gives the reader so much information with references! When I read his book I actually cried.
I became interested in English history when I heard several English historians talk over the radio about how Americans do not even know their own history. This sent me off digging in every book I could get my hands on looking for our history.
I've done some extensive research into my family history (approximately 30 years worth), I knew they came in from Ireland and Scotland on my father's side of the family. Everyone of them came in to the ports of Virginia. I could find no history of their old birth records - nothing. Their census records all said Virginia. Why Virginia? The writer explains all that and much more!
Mr. Hoffman II explained so many things to the reader about our history about Scottish and Irish fighting men that were taken from their lands to settle in North America. England needed money, what's more they wanted them off the soils of Scotland and Ireland. How many fighters became slaves, political prisoners, and indentured. Some signed up on their own free will but had no earthly idea what they were getting themselves into.
The horrors they had to endure was unbelievable.
When I look on web about indentured slavery in American History they made it sound like a darn vacation away from Europe for a few years! But a master is a master no matter what color he is and no matter what color the servant is.
This book explains a lot and it also makes you more aware as to why the political correct historians want this history under the rug! Read it, it is for every culture - he left no one out. It will shock you. - I almost fifn̢۪t But this because of the hokey cover art. I am glad I got it. This little book is an absolute gem of information about white slavery. Anyone interested in this subject should read this. Filled with historical cites. Much more than I expected or hoped for!
- Could use even more examples, but it does the job as an introductory book to this issue. It would also be nice to have more of the records depicted in the book. Names, dates, bills of sale, etc.
