• Noah Harris has a way of writing that sucks you into his adventures from the very beginning and does not let you go until you are at the end wanting more. The Angels Fall is no different, I was hooked during the prologue. I delayed reading this book since religious belief's are myths for me, but it is very obvious that Noah did lots of research before and during writing this book, that the characters follow the ancient tales of the Archangels with their characteristics and traits. Once I started reading the prologue I did not put the book down until the very end, and I wanted more, even at 239 AM when I finished the book. No matter what your beliefs are this is really a great adventure of overcoming loss and moving on with life as well as a really great earth shattering (at least earth shaking) gay romance.
  
  Tobias has left everyone and everything behind and sequestered himself in a remote cabin in the mountains that he and his deceased lover, David, shared. He has been alone for 2 years and has become content with himself and thinks he does not need anyone else for the rest of his life. He can live in the shared cabin with memories and going into town every few weeks for supplies. Azrael is an ancient Archangel charged with getting his past his destructive past and his loss and helping him to believe in himself and God again. Azrael is given the task of becoming human without any angelic powers, except for his appearance of course. Is is his first time being human and he is overwhelmed with all of his senses and feelings.
  
  The both help each other discover, explore, and get over their issues and problems all with out any preaching or bible teachings which I appreciated. It is a great gay romance first and foremost. Everything else about each character and the ones that show up just enhance the story and drag you deeper into their lives, feelings and loves. If you are a religious believer you will find that Noah has done tremendous research and has portrayed those characters as they are described in ancient literature and are true to their essence. Once Azrael is human, then he is free to use his judgment to determine the best way to help his lost soul charge, Tobias. It really is a great, very fulfilling adventure sharing their story and you will become totally involved in their lives and their development. Lots of twists and turns, surprise appearances keep you guessing and hoping for the best outcome. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and also purchased my own copy.
• I liked this new series by Noah Harris. Noah dips his toes into the world of angels and gives them his signature style of a depth of character and world making ability. Azrael, the angel of death, is an archangel tasked with helping a human find his way back to the right path before Azrael can go home. To do that, Azrael will have to fall and become human with limited memories of being an angel. Not being told any details on how he is to accomplish his mission, he ends up falling for Tobias as he pulls Tobias from his path of self-destruction and back to the path of happiness. But will Tobias still love Azrael when Azrael confesses to being an angel and why he was found naked in the woods on Tobias' mountain? You will just have to read the book to find out what happens and how Tobias got on the wrong path, to begin with. I can't wait to read the next book in the series to find out what happens next. My only issue with the book is that it gets a little philosophical/religious sometimes between Azrael and Tobias and those parts were a little slow for me. But then I don't normally like books about religion or the afterlife, and it's pretty hard to write a book about angels without it so, if you like to read books about angels and where they come from and all of that, then you should love this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
• This was a great read for me! I was drawn in to the story from the beginning because of the compelling elements of an ethereal creature making the unprecedented choice to fall from grace to fulfill a mission, with the promise of being returned to Heaven to his desired status as an angel of God. Typically when you hear of fallen angels, people tend to automatically defer to Lucifer, but I love how Noah introduced a character that willfully made the decision to abandon (albeit temporarily) their role in the Heavens in order to fulfill their designated purpose. I really feel that this was a beautiful story that many would enjoy, and I look forward to what may come next!
• I read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book. I was hesitant to start this new series because there are so many views on religion, a fallen angel, and God in general. Noah's take starting with the prologue will pull you in and keep you reading until the end.
  
  Azrael is entitled angel of death after all his time helping lost souls. Now his mission is to fall from heaven in order to save himself and a human. That is the ultimate sacrifice. This book is not like any other I have read. It is an absolute must have.
• First and foremost I would like to say, I have been a fan of author Noah Harris for some time. When I purchased this book I did so with a certain expectation of content and quality of said content, and with this book, Noah has met and surpassed all of my expectations. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed reading "The Angels Fall". I tore through this book in just over 24 hours and am eagerly if not somewhat impatiently awaiting book 2. Another hit way out of the park with this one Noah.
• Like all Noahs stories, you feel a part of the characters, he also has more story line than most gay authors. I have read all his books, and have to say I like them all. This is another story with a good theme, and lots of hot sex.

• WOW, what a story, I guess I'll have to change my ways. I absolutely loved the story. This is one I won't forget, it was very emotional, spiritual, and very romantic.
