• I don't have the time these days to spend hours and hours going through a level to look for each and every little thing that the developer puts into the game. I have a wife and kid, and, both of them want me to spend time with them. It is for that reason that I always buy a game guide for the video games I buy.
  
  This guide gives a very good detailed overview of each mission and side-mission as well as the locations of the various things that you have to find. I have absolutely enjoyed the other games that Rockstar has developed and this guide absolutely lists the things for Max Payne as well.
• Sadly this book is really a waste of money considering the fact that there's no collector's edition meaning no hard back option so even for a hardcore fan of the series there isn't that much information to be obtained from this book other than a simple walkthrough I was rather disappointed

• This one I bought for my PC.
  Great game, as I say, but needing three discs and having to wait while the computer absorbs them all, is a bit much.
  The action with the keyboard is not as easy as with a controller...see my review of the game on XBOX 360.
  I also bought the PS3 version it is on one disk, the 360 is on two, and so the PC is my favorite of the three.
  However, it is an engaging game no matter what format you choose, and I recommend them all.
